
Thomas Marks & Associates was founded in 1983 after Tom left his position as Vice President-Marketing for Bally in Chicago. Tom was also President of Bally’s in-house agency FFC Advertising. In 2003, Thomas Marks & Associates merged with Peritus Design, Kathy Marks’ interactive and graphic design firm creating TMA+Peritus.
Today, TMA+Peritus is a leading strategic interaction firm having worked with national brands that include McDonald’s, President Cheeses, Bombardier, Footlocker.com, Lactalis, American Family Insurance, Lincoln Logs, Baxter Health Care, Finish Line and F&W Publishing.
In late 2007, TMA+Peritus opened an office in Madison after working extensively in the area for the last 15 years. Over the last five years, the agency has quadrupled in size, and plans are to keep growing and re-investing in top performing people.
